Dear Resurrection Family,

We are in a period of insecurity as a church when it comes to our current state. As a church family we are amazing at coming together and supporting one another, both spiritually, and financially when the need is there. There is no greater need than now.

Wee Care is closed and not receiving any income, thus the majority of our revenue has stopped. Tuesday night the Board of Directors made a decision to utilize the church’s reserve funds to continue to pay the Rez and Wee Care staff, many at a reduced rate, during this time of shelter in place. We did this in order to provide for our staff and families for which many this is their only source of income. Unemployment is not an option for our staff as our church is a non-profit. Even with the blessing of reserves we have, it will only be a matter of weeks before those reserves are gone and we enter even more uncertainty.

We ask at this time, if you are financially able, to consider giving above and beyond your normal contribution. Your offering will make a huge impact on the staff and their families whom we rely on to keep this church and preschool running. It is this staff that has provided for the church all this time and they will continue to be needed when our doors open again. If you are not able to provide more than usual, please continue to give what you are able. Please follow this link (Online Giving) to provide online giving immediately.

The Board also decided to stop payments on just about every bill so that we are able to continue to help support our staff.

Please continue to pray for this church, its families, our pastor, and our financial situation.

God bless,

Justin Miller

(Board of Directors – Chair)
