We all eat. We have to. We probably have at least 14 meals a week. Maybe closer to 21. We often use these meals as a means to fuel ourselves. BUT what if we could use these natural times in a more intentional kind of way.
The gospel of Luke has a lot to say about meals. In fact, meals are the primary mission strategy of Jesus. “The Son of Man came eating and drinking.” Jesus sits down to a lot of meals throughout his ministry. And each meal he wants to show us something. Something important. Something that we need. Something that can help.
He helps us
- Consider who meals are shared with (Luke 5)
- Be gracious in our relationships (Luke 7)
- Tell our story (Luke 9)
